Universidad de Guadalajara’s program arises to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable communities by supporting local governments. It is worth mentioning that the projects developed within the framework of this program involve the university community, both students and professors, who are essential for its development. This program is under Dr. Antonio Sanchez Bernal, Director of the Division of Economy and Society. It is coordinated and directed by Dr. Beatriz Adriana Venegas Sahagun, who will link Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Latin America and our institution.
This program’s mission is to carry out collaborative work with the local governments of the state of Jalisco to support them in providing support and quality of life to the inhabitants of their municipalities, especially vulnerable communities

Past City Partners
The University Center of Administrative Economic Sciences at the University of Guadalajara has an agreement with the Zapopan City Council to carry out joint collaborative actions to enrich its functions. The agreement emphasizes collaboration in academic activities including continuing education, cultural dissemination, and science. Likewise, other activities include cooperation in social innovation and entrepreneurship projects, studies on inequality, regional development, and public policies. Similarly, the University of Guadalajara works continuously with the 125 municipalities of Jalisco, having a broad territorial scope.
